• The grant classes will be given to follow the format of the book
• We will be willing to travel anywhere in the country
• The duration and format is totally up to the client
• The two day class is what we consider to be the comprehensive, full dress version of all the material in the grant writing book. This will allow time for hands on exercises
• The shorter talks, such as the luncheon speeches, better lend themselves to discussing one specific aspect of the grant profession
• We can also customize the grant class for a specific organization or an entity that wishes to have only their own employees trained
• All materials will be provided and will be substantial and useful in reviewing the material covered in class
• Please contact us for available dates and fees
• Specific topics follow the chapters in the book and are as follows:
1. Overview and General Information
2. Being Clear About Your Need-What Needs Fixing?
3. Designing a Project- How to Make It More Fundable
4. Searching for Grant Sources
5. Search Advice for Specific Professions
6. Evaluating Grant Sources and Developing a Strategy

The following are testimonials about the classes Valerie Mann offers:

"I recently took a half-day private class with Valerie Mann, and was extremely pleased with the results. I left the class with much information I could take back to my office and start using immediately. Since that time, I have felt much more confident in writing grant applications and my boss is thrilled with my new-found skills. She gave me the names of specific programs we could access for needed equipment and personnel, along with information on how to apply, the deadlines, writing tips, etc. The value of this class was far, far in excess of what we paid for it!" - Bernice Evans, Maryland

"I attended a 3-hour seminar given by Ms. Mann covering project design and grant searches. The information was presented in a very straightforward, easy-to-understand fashion. She helped to take some of the 'mystery' out of grant-seeking and made it seem not nearly so daunting. I was very pleased with the content and presentation and would certainly attend another of her seminars." - Lisa Ludwig, Maryland
